About
Sara A. Mueller is a science fiction and fantasy writer.
I’ve worked, in no particular order, as a horse trainer, a beginning riding instructor, a recreation actor, a speaker on Elizabethan history, a retail salesperson, knitting instructor, and an assistant dog-trainer.
My interests are writing, reading, history, people, societies, knitting, gardening, food, horses, dogs, creatures in general, costuming, gaming, freshwater planted aquariums, Shakespeare, sewing, and virtually anything else shiny that crosses my path.
I was born in Marquette, Michigan; which makes me a real life native Yooper. I’m a dyslexic who chose to major in Anthropology and English at Sweet Briar College. I am certainly not their fault. I have been through or stayed in all 48 contiguous states plus Hawaii, and I’ve lived in six of them.
Currently, I’m living in Oregon with my patient husband, awesome son, elderly cat, a plethora of fish, and a porch full of plants that mostly survive me. I am conducting on-going Darwinian research in breeding for outdoor-only spiders.
